Hindi inaprubahan ni Pangulong Marcos Jr. ang dalawang probisyon sa 2024 General Appropriations Act.
Naka-veto ang revolving fund ng Department of Justice (DOJ) at National Government’s Career Executive Service Development Program.
Sabi ni Pangulong Marcos, tungkulin niya na tiyakin na maayos naipatutupad ang batas.
Aniya obligado siyang i-veto ang revolving fund ng DOJ na nakasaad sa Volume-1, page 1119 ng GAA dahil wala namang batas na nagpapahintulot na magtatag nito.
Ang tinutukoy na revolving fund ng DOJ ay ang service fees sa mga complaints at affidavits na inihahain sa National Prosecution Service at petition for reviews na inihahain sa kagawaran.
Ipinaabot ni Pangulong Marcos ang kanyang hakbang kay House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
Hindi rin inaprubahan ni Pangulong Marcos ang Section 38, Volume 1-B page 762 ng GAA na “Implementation of National Government’s Career Executive Service Development Program.”
Hindi na raw ito kailangan kasi may Presidential Decree No.1 na nilagdaan noong 1972 na lumilikha sa Career Executive Board.
Nasa P5.768 trilyong national budget ang nilagdaan ni Pangulong Marcos Jr. noong Miyerkules.
