Positibo sa Paralytic Shellfish Poison o toxic red tide ang ilang baybaying lugar sa bansa.
Ayon sa Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, positibo sa red tide ang Sapian Bay 𝗦𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝘆 (𝗜𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗻 at 𝗦𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗮𝗻 sa 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘇; 𝗠𝗮𝗺𝗯𝘂𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗮𝗼 𝗮t 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶, 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻 sa 𝗔𝗸𝗹𝗮𝗻); 𝗣𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗮, at 𝗥𝗼𝘅𝗮𝘀 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 sa 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘇; 𝗚𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀, 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗲𝘀 sa 𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗼; 𝗗𝗮𝘂𝗶𝘀 at 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 sa 𝗕𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗹; 𝗗𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝘆 sa 𝗭𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗿; 𝗟𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝘆 sa 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗿; at 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼 sa 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲.
Ipinagbabawal ng BFAR na kainin ang lahat ng uri ng shellfish at Acetes sp. o alamang na makukuha sa mga nabanggit na lugar.
Maari namang kainin ang isda, pusit, hipon, at alimango basta’t tanggalin lamang ang hasang at kaliskis at lutin ng Mabuti.
