Comelec pinasasagot ng SC sa hamon ng Smartmatic
Binigyan ang Comelec ng 10 araw upang sagutin ang paghamon ng Smartmatic.
Hiniling din ng Smartmatic sa SC na magpalabas ng temporary restraining order (TRO) o writ of preliminary injunction.
“Now, therefore, you respondents … are hereby required to comment on the petition and prayer for a TRO and/or writ of preliminary injunction within a non-extendible period of 10 days from notice hereof,” ayon sa resolusyon.
Magugunita na noong nakaraang buwan lamang ay diniskuwalipika ng Kataastaasang Hukuman ang Smartmatic sa lahat ng bidding ng komisyon.
Samantala, naka-recess hanggang sa pagpasok ng bagong taon ang Korte Suprema.
