Digitalization sa jail decongestion isinusulong ni Pangulong Marcos
Hinikayat ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang mga ahensyang miyembro ng Justice Sector Coordinating Council (JSCC) na itaguyod ang streamlining at digitalization para maresolba ang jail decongestion sa bansa.
Sa mensahe ni Pangulong Marcos na binasa ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin sa National Jail Decongestion Summit sa Manila, nais nito na mapadali ang pagresolba sa malalang problema sa siksikan sa mga kulungan.
Naniniwala si Pangulong Marcos na malaking tulong ang teknolohiya para mapabilis ang trabaho.
Sabi ng Pangulo, sa pamamagitan ng jail decongestion ay mabubuo ang mas maayos na polisiya at inisyatibong tutugon sa ugat ng pagsisiksikan ng mga bilanggo.
Kasama sa JSCC ay ang Supreme Court, Department of Justice at ang Department Interior and Local Government,
“By embracing technology and innovative practices, we can enhance our efficiency, reduce delays, and ensure swift and fair legal proceedings,” sabi ni Pangulong Marcos.
“This gathering is most welcome, as it demonstrates the commitment of the entire government to expedite the processing of criminal cases and alleviate the chronic problem of jail congestion,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.
