Health Sec. Ted Herbosa, Agriculture Sec. Francisco Tiu-Laurel lusot sa CA
Matapos hindi palusutin noong Setyembre, inaprubahan na ng Commission on Appointments (CA) ang ad interim appointment ni Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa.
Unang tinanong at nilinaw kay Herbosa ng mga senador at kongresista ang ilang isyu, bago inirekomenda ni Sen. Christopher Go na maisalang na sa plenaryo ang appointment ng una.
Wala naman tumutol sa mga miyembro ng komite.
Kasunod nito, nakalusot na rin sa CA si Agriculture Sec. Francisco Tiu-Laurel.
Si Tiu-Laurel ang pumalit kay Pangulong Marcos Jr., na nagsilbing kalihim ng DA simula noong Hulyo 2022 hanggang noong nakaraang buwan.
Natanong si Tiu-Laurel ukol sa smuggling ng mga produktong-agrikultural, gayundin ukol sa presyo at suplay ng mga produktong karaniwang nagmumula sa mga magsasaka.
