Inflation bumagal sa 4.1 percent

Bumagal ang inflation o pagtaas ng presyo ng mga bilihin sa buwan ng Nobyembre.

Ayon sa Philippine Statistics Authority, nasa 4.1 percent lamang ang inflation noong Nobyembre, mas mababa sa 4.9 percent na naitala noong Oktubre.

Sabi ng PSA, ito na ang pinakamababang inflation na naitala sa nakalipas na 20 buwan mula noong Marso 2022.

Nabatid na ang pagbagal ng paggalaw ng presyo ng food and non-food items ang dahilan ng pagbagal ng inflation.

Sinabi naman ni National Economic and Development Authority Secretary Arsenio Balisacan na malaking tulong sa pagpapabagal sa inflation ang mga programang ipinatupad ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

“With the right interventions in place, including the proper and timely deployment of trade policy, we are confident that we can effectively manage inflation and prevent unnecessary upticks in prices of goods and commodities to safeguard the purchasing power of Filipino families, especially those from the most vulnerable sectors,” pahayag ni Balisacan.

Sabi ni Balisacan, patuloy na babantayan ng pamahalaan ang presyo ng mga bilihin.

“Effective implementation of these programs is crucial to minimize the impact of high  prices on low-income households. The government is also implementing strategies and programs to improve local food production and supply and  boost the productivity of our farmers by investing in irrigation, flood control, supply chain logistics, and climate change adaptation,” pahayag ni Balisacan.
