40 barko na sasama sa Christmas convoy sa West Philippine Sea, pag-aaralan pa
Pinag-uusapan pa ng Philippine Coast Guard at Western Command ng Armed Forces of the Philippines kung papayagan ang 40 barko ng Atin Ito coalition na lalahok sa civilian Christmas convoy sa West Philippine Sea sa Disyembre 10.
Sa Bagong Pilipinas public briefing, sinabi ni Assistant Director General Jonathan Malaya ng National Security Council na masyadong marami ang 40 barko.
Sabi ni Malaya, swarming ang mangyayari kapag pinayagan lahat ng mga ito.
Payo ni Malaya sa Atin Ito coalition, kumuha muna ng permit sa MARINA para matiyak na seaworthy ang mga barko at marunong ang mga kapitan sa high seas dahil malalaki ang alon sa West Philippine Sea.
Pinapayagan ng NSC ang Christmas convoy sa Patag Island at Lawak Island sa Spratlys gayundin sa vicinity ng Ayungin Shoal, bagama’t hindi sila lalapit sa BRP Sierra Madre.
