PBBM atras sa Dubai Climate Change meet, aasikasuhin 17 Pinoy seafarers

Hindi na dadalo si Pangulong  Jr. sa Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Changr (COP28) sa Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Sinabi ng Pangulong Marcos Jr., may mas mahalagang pangyayari na kailangang agad harapin kaugnay sa kondisyon ng 17 Filipino seafarers sa Red Sea.

“In light of important developments in the hostage situation involving 17 Filipino seafarers in the Red Sea, I have made the decision not to attend COP28 in Dubai tomorrow,” aniya.

Ngayon araw ay magpapatawag siya ng pulong para bumuo at magpadala ng “high-level delegation” sa Iran para asikasuhin ang 17 Filipino seafarers.

Samantala, ipapadala ni Pangulong Marcos Jr., si Environment Sec. Ma. Antonio Yulo-Loyzaga  para pangunahan ang delegasyon sa pagtitipon sa Dubai.

” I have entrusted DENR Secretary Ma. Antonio Yulo-Loyzaga to lead the COP28 delegation and articulate the country’s statement on my behalf,” aniya.

Bibiyahe sana ngayong araw si Pangulong Marcos sa Dubai hanggang sa Disyembre 2.
