Las Piñas LGU kinilala mga natatanging kawani, operating units
Pinangunahan nina Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar at Vice-Mayor April Aguilar ang kanilang mga opisyal, kawani at operating units, gayundin ang mga pambansnag ahensiya sa 2023 Local Governance Exemplar Awards.
Isinagawa ang pagkilala at pahgbibigay parangal kasabay ng regular falg-raising ceremony kanina sa Las Piñas City Hall.
Sinabi ni Mayor Aguilar nilikha ang Las Piñas City Local Governance Exemplar Award (LPCLGEA) na ang layon ay makilala, mapili at parangalan, bukod sa mabigyan ng insentibo ang mga katangi-tanging opisina, opisyal at kawani sa pagtupad ng kanilang mga mandato at tungkulin.
Dagdag pa nito, nais din ng LPCLGEA na mapagtibay ang pagbibigay ng parangal para mahikayat ang mga opisyal at kawani na magbigay ng suhestiyon at magpahayag ng ideya, bukod pa sa lubos na pagpapabuti ng kanilang trabaho.
Nagsilbing saksi sa pagbibigay parangal sina Interior Usec. Odilon Pasaraba, DILG-NCR Asst. Regional Dir. Ana Lyn Baltazar-Cortez, DILG – Las Pinas Dir. Mary Anne Planas, Southern Police Dir. Brig. Gen. Mark Danglait Pespes, at Las Piñas City police chief, Col. Jaime O. Santos.
Paliwanag ni Mayor Aguilar may dalawang kategorya ang parangal, ang city-level awards at ang barangay-level awards.
Sa ilalim ng City Level Awards ang High Functionality on the Las Pinas City Peace and Order Council (LPCPOC); Safest City in Southern Metro Manila; High Functionality on the Las Pinas City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (LPCADAC); Ideal Function for both the Local Council for Protection of Children (LCPC) and the Local Committee on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and Children (LCAT-VAWC); Functional Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP); and Functional Fisheries Compliance Audit.
Gayundin ang Regional Recognition on Manila Bay Clean-Up, Rehabilitation, at ang Preservation (MBCRP) Program; Regional Recognition on Halina’s Magtanim ng Prutas at Gulay (HAPAG)-Kalinga Program; City Nutrition Awards; Best Garden Award; at ang Seal of 4Ps-Grand Winner Pantawid Farmers ng Talon Kuatro-Livelihood Association.
Sa Barangay Level Awards category ang Safe Barangay Awards, Drug Cleared Barangays, Best Barangay Nutrition Scholars, Seal of Good Local Governance for Barangays (SGLGB), and the Outstanding Lupong Tagapamayapa of the City of Las Piñas.
Pinasalamatan naman ni Vice Mayor Aguilar sa kanyang mensahe ang lahat ng mga pinarangalan.
