Tagumpay ang “no bio, no boto” campaign ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) para sa mga rehistradong botante na wala pang biometrics record.
Sa Muntinlupa City, ramdam ang pagdami ng nagpaparehistro at nagpapakuha ng biometrics simula nang ilunsad ng Comelec ang kampanya.
Sinabi ni Muntinlupa City Election Officer Atty. Ramon Rosello sa Radyo Inquirer na dumarami ang mga botanteng nagtutungo sa kanilang satellite office 3rd floor ng Star Mall sa Alabang Muntinlupa.
“Meron tayong noticeable increase ng mga nagpaparehistro at nagpapa-biometrics dahil sa kampanyang ‘no bio no boto’, simula noon medyo nagkakaroon tayo ng increase ng mga nagpupunta sa Comelec office,” Ayon kay Rosello.
Bukas ang biometrics registration mula alas 8:00 ng umaga hanggang alas 5:00 ng hapon sa mga Comelec local office at satellite office.
Sa weekend, ang mga residente sa Muntinlupa ay maari ding magparehistro at magpa-biometrics sa SM Tunasan sa July 17, at sa Metro Gaisano Mall sa July 18 at 19./ Ruel Perez
