Go hiniling sa DepEd na gawing prayoridad ang umento ng mga guro

Ipinanawagan ni Senator Christopher Go sa Department of Education (DepEd) na gawing prayoridad ang pagtaas ng suweldo at allowances ng mga guro.
Ginawa ni Go ang panawagan sa deliberasyon ng 2024 budget ng kagawaran sa plenaryo ng Senado.
Binanggit ng senador nang talakayin sa Development Budget Coordination Committee-Senate, tiniyak ni Budget Sec. Amenah Pangandaman na may nailaan na P17 bilyon para sa Salary Standardization 6 sa isinusulong na pondo para sa susunod na taon.
Dagdag pa ni Go, sa kabila ng mga naging hamon sa sektor ng edukasyon dulot ng pandemya, magiting na tumugon ang mga guro para maipagpatuloy lamang ang pagbabahagi ng edukasyon.”It is therefore just incumbent upon us to recognize their devotion and invaluable contribution to the formation of our youth and society,” ayon pa kay Go.
