Hindi na isusulong ni Vice President Sara Duterte na magkaroon ng confidential funds.
Ayon kay Duterte, nagdulot lamang kasi ng pagkakahati hati ang naturang isyu.
“We will no longer pursue the confidential funds,” pahayag ni Duterte.
“Because this issue is divisive, and as the Vice President, I swore an oath to keep the country peaceful and strong,” pahayag ni Duterte.
Nasa P500 milyon ang hinihinging confidential fund ni Duterte para sa susunod na taon.
“The Office of the Vice President can only propose a budget to support the safe implementation of our programs, activities, and projects to alleviate poverty and promote the general welfare of every Filipino family,” pahayag ni Duterte.
