Ayuda sa vulnerable sector tuloy kahit bumagal ang inflation
Tuloy ang ayuda ng pamahalaan sa mga mahihirap na pamilyang Filipino.
Ito ay kahit na bumagal ang inflation o ang pagtaas ng presyo ng bilihin noong buwan ng Oktubre.
Ayon kay National Economic and Development Authority Secretary Arsenio Balisacan, tuloy ang ayuda sa vulnerable sectors dahil sa epekto ng El Niño na inaasahang tatagal ng hanggang kalagitnaan ng 2024.
Nasa 4.9 percent ang inflation noong Oktubre, mas mabagal kumpara sa 6.1 percent noong Setyembre.
“As inflation eases, it is crucial to continue monitoring the prices of commodities, particularly food, transportation, and energy, amid global challenges such as geopolitical uncertainties and El Niño,” pahayag ni Balisacan.
“Moreover, it is important to ensure that the most vulnerable sectors of the society are protected and provided assistance, especially while food prices remain high and we expect El Niño to affect local and global food production,” pahayag ni Balisacan.
