“The first batch of Filipinos leaving Gaza will be leaving tomorrow (November 5) – there’ll be 20 of them and afterwards, it could be the next day or in the next two days. I would have to update you on that… a batch of 23, we want it to be higher hopefully,” sabi ni de Vega.

“But so far, only 43 now of the Filipinos have signified that they definitely want to leave Gaza at any moment. However, all of them have the exit permit. And again, the reason why it’s only 43, it’s because a lot of them do not want to leave their Palestinian spouses or parents,” dagdag ni de Vega.

“They (Embassy) are ready… we’ll bring them to Cairo and within 72 hours, they will be required to leave because it’s only a transit visa they are getting,” pahayag ni de Vega.
