OFWs hinikayat ni Sen. Cynthia Villar na makibahagi sa OFW and Family Summit
Inimbitahan ni Senator Cynthia A. Villar ang overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) at kanilang pamilya na magparehistro sa gaganaping 12th OFW and Family Summit sa darating na Nobyembre 10 sa The Tent, Vista Global South, C5 Road sa Las Piñas City.
Ayon kay Villar ang tema ng summit ngayon taon ay “Masaganang Kabuhayan Para sa OFWs and Families.”
“My family and many OFWs always look forward to this event because it has evolved into an occasion where OFWs and their families gather and interact with private and government institutions for concerns ranging from access to financial services, social benefits, legal assistance, among others,” aniya.
Sabi pa niya: “We hope to inculcate financial literacy among OFWs, which will equip them with the necessary tools to grow their money in their homeland,” also said the senator,” a known advocate of the rights and welfare of our migrant workers.
Sa summit tuturuan ang OFWs ng tamang paggamit ng pera na kanilang pinaghirapan, gayundin kung paano makakaiwas na maging biktima ng
human trafficking, illegal recruitment at investment scams.
Ibinahagi din ni Villar na ang magpapa-rehistrong OFW ay makakasali sa raffle at kabilang sa mga premyo ay brand new Camella house and lot, motorcycles at Kabuhayan showcases mula sa All Day Home.
Paalala na lamang din ng senadora sa mga makikibahagi sa summit na dalhin ang kanilang passport at working visa, proof of remittances, Seaman’s Book, job contract, kopya ng mga dokumento tulad ng marriage contract, birth certificate, Covid vaccination card, Vax certificate o International Certificate of Vaccination with 1st dose at 2nd dose.
