Sinampahan ng kasong kriminal ng Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) sa Department of Justice si dating Land Transportation Office Chief Alberto Suansing dahil sa hindi pagbabayad ng tamang buwis.
Si Suansing ang tumatayong presidente ng North Star Port Development Corp.
Ayon kay outgoing BIR Commissioner Kim Henares sabit din sa kaso ang treasurer ng kumpanya na si Rosauro Aguilando.
Sa imbestigasyon ng BIR, hindi umano nagbayad ang North Star ng P29.83-Million na buwis para sa taong 2008.
Kabilang dito ang P22.07 Million na income tax at P7.76 Million na Value Added Tax.
Ang kaso laban sa North Star ang ika-488 na naihain ng BIR sa ilalim ng Run After Tax Evadera (RATE) program nito.
Nauna dito ay ilang mga negosyante rin ang kinasuhan ng BIR hingil sa hindi tamang pagbabayad ng buwis.
