Pangulong Marcos sa mga Mayor: Gayahin ang best practices ng international partners
Hinikayat ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang local chief executives na makipag-ugnayan sa kanilang international counterparts at gayahin ang best practices para mapaganda pa ang pagbibigay serbisyo publiko.
Sa talumpati ni Pangulong Marcos sa Philippine Mayor’s Forum sa Quezon City, sinabi nito na suportado ng administrasyon ang LGUs.
“Let me challenge our mayors to not only make the most out of this forum. Let us make good use of this forum,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.
Sabi ni Pangulong Marcos, epektibong multiplier ang LGUs bilang suporta sa United Nations para mapaigting ang capacity-building ng local governments.
Dapat aniyang samantalahin ng local chief executives ang UN program para magkaroon ng dagdag kaalaman.
“In that way, we are able to achieve more. So we must also explore international partnership such as that with your counterpart, not only in the Philippines but in other countries as well. In that way, we will learn the best, best practices in improving public service delivery,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.
“I assure you, our mayors, that this administration will remain your leading partner in enhancing your capacities to achieve our sustainable development goals and Ambisyon Natin 2040,” dagdag ng Pangulo.
