Sa presentation of credentials ni Czech Republic Ambassador to the Philippines Karel Hejč kay Pangulong Marcos Jr. sa Malakanyang, sinabi nito na palalakasin pa ang ugnayan sa defense at agrikultura ng dalawang bansa.
Halimbawang alok ng Czech Republic na paggawa ng war material, kooperasyon sa training exercises, maintenance, uogrades at iba pa dahil kilala rin sa paggawa ng tractors at fighter jets, eroplano at iba pang defense equipment. “The opportunities are here. We just need to grab them and I’m pleased to mention that just in the next year, we will start here with the visit of the foreign committee of our parliament on so much important defense and security issues of the regional geopolitics,” pahayag ng opisyal. “But later on in the year, we plan on bringing our Minister of Agriculture to Manila and to the Philippines where we want to — naturally, our ministers travel accompanied with business delegations. So, carefully selected companies that are interested in doing business with the Philippines, with the Filipino companies, and investing in Philippines,” dagdag nito Nabatid na pinalakas ng Czech Republic ang depensa at security industry dahil sa geographic position sa Europa at papel na ginagampanan nito sa regional conflicts. Nagpasalamat naman si Pangulong Marcos sa Czech Republic. “There is a lot.
