Ayon sa Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), tectonic ang origin ng lindol na may lalim na anim na kilometro.
Naramdaman itong Intensity IV sa Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte.
Naitala naman ang Instrumental Intensity IV sa Siocon at Instrumental Intensity I sa Zamboanga City.
Wala namang inaasahang aftershocks matapos ang lindol.
