Cultural ambassadors ang turing ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. sa mga overseas Filipino workers na nakikipagsapalaran sa ibang bansa.
Sa talumpati ni Pangulong Marcos sa Filipino community sa Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, sinabi nito na hindi masasayang ang paghihirap ng mga OFW dahil habang buhay itong tatanawaing utang na loob ng gobyerno.
Hindi maikakaila ayon sa Pangulo na kinikilala sa buong mundo ang husay at galing ng mga OFW.
Sabi ni Pangulong Marcos ang determinasyon at katatagan ng mga Filipino ang hinahangaan ng mga dayuhang employer.
“On behalf of the government of the Philippines, I convey my gratitude and express my admiration to each and every one of you. You served as an inspiration to us all. The knowledge and the skills that you have acquired; ‘yung inyong galing at sipag habang kayo’y nandito have proven to be invaluable assets to the Philippines,” sabi ni Pangulong Marcos.
Nasa 700,000 na Filipino ang nasa Saudi Arabia.
