Binuwag na ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang North Luzon Railways Corp. (Northrail).
Base sa Memorandum Order No. 17 na nilagdaan ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, sinabi nito na hindi na naibibigay ng Northrail Corporation ang layunin nito na magkaroon ng economic returns.
Mismong ang Governance Commission for Government-owned and -controlled Corporations (GCG) ang nagsabi na wala ng saysay ang Northrail Corp.
Nabatid na ang Northrail project ang magsasagawa sana ng railroad na magkokonekta sa Caloocan City patungo sa Malolos, Bulacan.
