Landbank excempted na sa pag-remit ng dividend

Hindi na obligado ang Land Bank of the Philippines na mag-remit ng dividend ng kita nito sa gobyerno para sa taong 2022.

Ito ay matapos lagdaan ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang Executive Order No.43 na nag-a-adjust sa dividend rate ng Landbank mula sa 50 percent patungo sa 0 percent.

Nasa P30.6 bilyon ang naging income ng Landbank noong 2022, mas mataas ng 38.2 percent mula sa P21.7 bilyong kita noong 2021.

Nakasaad sa Republic Act (RA) No. 7656 na lahat ng government-owned or -controlled corporations (GOCCs) ay kailangan na magdeklara at mag-remit ng 50 percent ng kanilang annual net earnings sa national government.

Nilagdaan ni Pangulong Marcos ang EO matapos mag-remit ang Landbank ng P50 bilyon sa Maharlika Investment Fund.
