DFA hindi pa irerekomenda ang mandatory repatriation ng OFWs sa Israel
Wala pang balak ang embahada ng Pilipinas sa Israel na irekomenda kay Pangulong Marcos Jr. na magpatupad ng mandatory repatriation sa mga Filipino na naiipit sa gulo sa Israel.
Ito ay kahit na dalawang Filipino na ang kumpirmadong pinatay ng militanteng grupo ng Hamas.
Ayon kay Philippine Ambassador to Israel Pedro Laylo, pinatay kasi ang dalawa sa unang araw pa lamang ng bakbakan sa Israel.
Sa ngayon kasi aniya, unti-unti nang gumaganda ang sitwasyon sa Israel.
Unti-unti na rin aniyang nababawi ng puwersa ng Israel ang mga lugar sa Gaza Strip na nilusob ng Hamas.
“The embassy has not recommended it because mandatory repatriation or Alert Level Four is called when the country has broken down and the rule of law and everything about peace and order has broken down, war throughout the country – that is not the case in the state of Israel,” pahayag ni de Vega.
