October 30 idineklarang non-working day dahil sa BSKE

Idineklara na ni Pangulong Marcow Jr. na non-working day ang Oktubre 30 sa buong bansa.
Ito ay para bigyan-daan ang pagraos ng Baramgay at Sangguniang Kabataan elections.
“It is imperative that the people be given the full opportunity to participate in the said elections and exercise their right of suffrage,” sabi ni Pangulong Marcos sa Proclamation No. 359.
Ang proklamasyon ay nilagdaan ni Executive Sec. Lucas Bersamin noong nakaraang Lunes, Oktubre 9.
Una na ng binigyan ng go signal ng Supreme Court ang Commission on Elections (COMELEC) na ituloy ang eleksyon sa Oktubre 30 base sa nakasaad sa Republic Act No. 11935.
