Hinikayat ng Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development ang mga homeowners association s abansa na magkaroon ng digital inclusion.
Ayon kay DHSUD Secretary Jose rizalino Acuzar, ito ay para maging digitally connected ang komunidad.
Katuwang ng DHSUD sa naturang programa ang Homeowners Association and Community Development Bureau (HOACDB), Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) at iba pa.
Tema nito ang “Digitally Connected Communities: Engaging HOAs Towards Digital Inclusion.”
Sabi ni Acuzar, pagtalima na rin ito sa Executive Order No. 32 ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos na “Streamlining the Permitting Process for the Construction of Telecommunications and Internet Infrastructure.”
“With your support and cooperation, I am optimistic that we will be able to identify the bottlenecks involved in the telecommunications sector and discuss ways to solve these, together with all the important players in this industry who are with us today. So, with your efforts and active participation, let us all foster digitally connected communities across the country,” pahayag ni Acuzar.
