Exempted na sa pag-iisyu ng mga resibo ang mga indibidwal na suppliers, producers, sellers, contract growers, at millers ng Agricultural Food Products na kumukita ng hindi lagpas sa P1 milyon kada taon.
Ayon kay Bureau of Internal Revenue Commissioner Romeo Lumagui Jr., pagsunod na rin ito sa itinatakda ng Revenue Regulation No. 12-2023 na hindi na kailanga na mag-isyu ang mga maliliit na magsasaka.
“Small farmers do not need to issue receipts. The BIR will do its part in making the lives of our farmers easier. The BIR will only require receipts if their annual gross sales/receipts exceed P1 million,” pahayag ni Lumagui.
Sabi ni Lumagui, bilang bahagi ng pagpapatupad ng Ease of Doing Business and Taxpayer’s Service, tinanggal na rin ang requirement na principal at supplementary gross sales/receipts para sa Agricultural Food Products.
Partikular na tinutukoy sa Agricultural food products ang mga produktong ginagamit sa yielding o producing food para sa pagkain ng tao gaya ng farm produce, livestock, poultry, marine product, ordinary salt, at agricultural inputs.
Sakop din nito ang mga produktong dumaan sa simpleng proseso ng preparation o preservation.
