LTFRB chairman Teofilo Guadiz, sinuspendi ni Pangulong Marcos
Sinuspendi ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. si Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) chairman Teofilo Guadiz III.
Ito ay matapos ibunyag ng kanyang dating executive assistant na si Jeff Tumbado na malawak ang korupsyon sa LTFRB.
Sabi ni Tumbado, umaabot sa P5 milyon ang hinihinging lagay sa mga transport group na nagnanais na kumuha ng ruta, prangkisa, special permits at board resolution.
Sabi ng Presidential Communications Office, hindi kinukunsinti ng Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang ano mang uri ng korupsyon.
“The President does not tolerate any misconduct in his administration and has instructed the immediate investigation of this matter,” pahayag ng Presidential Communications Office.
“He strongly condemns dishonesty and duplicity in public service,” dagdag ng PCO.
Sabi ni Tumbado, umaabot daw sa Department of Transportation at sa Malakanyang ang korupsyon.
Agad naman na nagsagawa ng imbestigasyon ang DOTr kaugnay kay Guadiz.
