Stable na ang presyo ng well-milled rice sa mga palengke.
Ayon kay Agriculture Undersecretary Leocadio Sebastian, naging stable na ang presyo ng bigas bago pa man binawi ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang Executive Order 39 na nagtatakda sa P41 kada kilo sa regular milled rice at P45 sa kada kilo ng well-milled rice.
“[The] DA price monitoring after lifting the price cap shows a stable rice price at the price cap level,” pahayag ni Sebastian.
Ayon kay Sebastian, asahan nang tuluyang bababa ang presyo ng bigas sa mga palengke dahil panahon na ng pag-aani ng mga magsasaka.
Sinang-ayunan naman ni DA Assistant Secretary Arnel de Mesa ang pahayag ni Sebastian.
Ayon kay de Mesa, mas mababa na sa P41 ang regular milled rice at P45 sa well-milled rice sa ilang palengke.
