OVP pumalag sa viral video sa trapik sa QC; Duterte nasa Mindanao
Pinabulaanan ng Office of the Vice President na ipinahinto ng kanilang hanay ang trapiko sa kahabaan ng Commonwealth Avenue sa Quezon City para dumaan si Vice Presient Sara Duterte.
Ayon sa pahayag ng OVP, nasa Mindanao si Duterte kahapon para sa World Teacher’s Day at iba pang aktibidad.
Nag-viral ang video kahapon kung saan makikitang bumigat ang daloy ng trapiko sa Commonwealth dahil hinarang at hindi muna pinadaan ng pulis ang mga motorista.
“The Vice President did not ask Quezon City Police District and will never ask government agencies, including law enforcement bodies, to carry out actions that would inconvenience the public or cause them harm,” pahayag ng OVP.
Sabi ng OVP, patuloy na isusulong ni Duterte ang interes at kapakanan ng publiko kaysa sa sariling interes at mga prebilihiyo.
“The viral video is spreading injurious information that is purely grounded in falsity,” pahayag ng OVP.
Umapela rin ang OVP sa QCPD na magsagawa ng imbestigasyon sa insidente at papanagutin ang mga taong naging iresponsable.
Samantala, agad namang humingi ng paumanhin ang pamunuan ng QCPD.
Inalis na muna sa puwesto si Police Sergeant Pantallano na nakunan sa video na nagpahinto sa mga motorista.
Nagkamali raw si Pantallano sa pagdinig ng salitang VIP at sinabing si VP Sara Duterte.
