Bumilis ang inflation o ang pagtaas ng presyo ng mga bilihin sa bansa noong buwan ng Setyembre.
Ayon sa Philippine Statistics Authority, ito ay dahil sa patuloy na pagtaas ng presyo ng bigas pati na ang mabilis na pagtaas ng transport costs.
Sabi ng PSA, pumalo sa 6.1 percent ang inflation noong Setyembre, mas mabilis kumpara sa 5.3 percent na naitala noong Agosto.
Pero ayon sa PSA, pasok pa rin naman sa forcast ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas na aabot sa 5.3 hanggang 6.1 percent ang inflation sa buwan ng Setyembre.
