Quezon City, itinanghal na Most Competitive na LGU

Sa ikatlong pagkakataon, itinanghal ang Quezon City government na Most Competitive Local Government Unit ang Quezom City government sa ilalim ng Highly Urbanized Cities category ng Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index (CMCI).
Taong 2020 nang maging Hall of Famer ang lungsod sa naturang parangal.
Nabatid na anim na parangal ang hinakot ng Quezpn City government mula sa Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
Kabilang na ang 1st Overall Most Competitive City recognition; 1st Place bilang Most Competitive in Innovation; 1st Place bilang Most Competitive in Infrastructure; 1st Place bilang Most Competitive in Resiliency; 2nd Place bilang Most Competitive in Economic Dynamism; at 1st Place bilang Top Intellectual Property Filers (special citation).
Mismong si Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte ang tumanggap ng parangal sa Manila Hotel.
Kasama ni Belmonte sina Business Permits and Licensing Department (BPLD) Head Margie Santos and Small Business Cooperatives Development at Promotions Office (SBCDPO) Head Mona Yap.
“These awards are a testament to the commitment and dedication of the city government in crafting programs and policies for all QCitizens, including startup businesses,” pahayag ni Belmonte.
“We offer the recognition to all our QCitizens who continue to support and trust the city government, and who pay their taxes and dues religiously. We assure them that every centavo they pay will be properly accounted for, and will be used to finance meaningful projects for their benefit and the growth of our city,” pahayag ni Belmonte.
