Inaprubahan na ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board ang pising hirit na umento sa pasahe sa jeep.
Ayon sa LTFRB, epektibo ang umento sa pasahe sa jeep simula sa Oktubre 8 sa buong bansa.
Mula sa kasalukuyang P12, magiging P13 na ang minimum na pasahe.
Una nang humirit sa LTFRB ng dagdag pasahe ang transport group na Pasang Masda, Association of Concerned Transport Organizations (Acto) at Alliance of Transport Operators and Drivers Association of the Philippines (Altodap).
Idinadahilan ng transport group ang patuloy na pagtaas sa presyo ng prduktong petrolyo.
