Health chief Ted Herbosa hindi nagpakita sa DOH budget hearing

Dalawang araw matapos ma-bypassed sa Commission on Appointment (CA) ang kanyang ad interim appointment, hindi na humarap si Health Secretary Ted Herbosa sa Senate Committee on Finance.
Kahapon itinakda ang pagdinig sa P311.3 billion 2024 budget ng Department of Health (DOH).
Ang DOH at ang mga ahensiya na nasa ilalim ng pangangasiwa nito ay pinangunahan na lamang ni Health Usec. Lilibeth David bilang most senior official ng kagawaran.
Noong Martes humarap sa CA si Herbosa ngunit nabigo siyang makumpirma dahil sa kakulangan ng oras.
Maraming senador ang nagpahiwatig ng interes na matanong ang kalihim.
Kinabukasan ay na-adjourned naman ang Kongreso kayat kinakailangan na ire-appoint siya ni Pangulong Marcos Jr., sa posisyon at muling haharap sa CA sa pagbubukas muli ng Kongreso sa Nobyembre.
