Rehistro ng An Waray partylist kinansela ng Comelec, nominado inalis na sa Kamara
Nabawasan ng isang miyembro ang Mababang Kapulungan ng Kongreso sa pagkaka-alis sa listahan ni An Waray Partylist Representative Florencio Noel. Inalis na sa listahan ng mga mambabatas ng Kamara si Noel kasunod nang desisyon ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) na kanselahin ang rehistro ng naturang grupo. Si House Deputy Majority Leader Janette ang unang nagbanggit sa komunikasyon mula sa Comelec nang mag-roll call sa plenaryo. “In view thereof, Mr. Speaker, I move that the Secretary General be directed to execute and implement the resolution accordingly and drop the An Waray Party-list representative from the rolls of members of the 19th Congress, so move Mr. Speaker,” ani Garin. Ito naman ay inaprubahan ni House Deputy Speaker TUCP Partylist Rep. Raymond Democrito Mendoza, ang presiding officer ng mga sandaling iyon, nang walang nagbigay nang pagtutol. Base sa mga naunang ulat, nag-ugat ang desisyon ng Comelec nang kumilos ang An Waray noong 2013 na iupo ang kanilang second nominee sa kabila ng kawalan ng certificate of proclamation. Sa ngayon mayroon na lamang 310 mambabatas sa Kamara.
