Nilagdaan na ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang bagong batas na “Trabaho Para sa Bayan Act.”
Layunin ng bagong batas na tugunan ang unemployment, underemployment at iba pang hamon sa sektor ng paggawa.
Sa ilalim ng batas, palalakasin ang employability at competitiveness ng mga Filipino workers sa pamamagitan ng upskilling at reskilling initiatives; at pagsuporta na rin sa micro, small, at medium enterprises at industry stakeholders.
Pamumunuan ang Trabaho Para sa Bayan Inter-Agency Council (TPB-IAC ni National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Secretary Arsenio Balisacan kung saan babalangkas ng isang masterplan para sa employment generation at recovery.
Magsisilbing co-chairman ang mga kalihim ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) at Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
Welcome naman kay Balisacan ang bagong batas.
“We support the Trabaho Para sa Bayan Act as it contributes to the Philippine Development Plan 2023-2028, which aims to increase employability, expand access to employment opportunities, and achieve shared labor market governance,” pahayag ni Balisacan.
“With the passage of the TPB, this will facilitate stronger coordination and partnership among relevant agencies and stakeholders for the efficient implementation of employment programs,” sabi ni Balisacan.
