Globe Hapag Movement at Albay LGU sinelyuhan ang kampaniya kontra gutom
Hawak-kamay na ngayon ang Globe at pamahalaang-panglalawigan ng Albay Province sa paglaban sa kagutuman.
Pinangunahan ni Gov. Edcel Greco Lagman ang isang benefit dinner sa Governor’s Guest House sa Legazpi at ang lahat ng kinita ay napunta sa “The Hapag Movement.”
Pagsuporta na ito ng Globe sa “feeding programs” sa mga pamilya na patuloy na apektado ng “state of calamity”
Katuwang din sa inisyatibo para malabanan ang kagutuman ang Tzu Chi Foundation, isang international humanitarian organization; ang Albay Queen 102, Leo Club, at ang kanilang mother organization Legazpi City “Host” Lions Club, PMJF, isang socio-civic organization na nakatuon sa walong global causes, kabilang ang kagutuman.
Bunga nito, pinasalamatan ni Yoly Crisanto, ang Chief Sustainability and Corporate Communications Officer ng Globe Group, ang pamahalaang-panglalawigan sa pagharap sa hamon at pagtugon sa kagutuman.
“Tonight marks a huge milestone for the Hapag Movement because Albay is the first LGU to sign up and join us. We believe that LGUs are among the key pillars for nation-building,” sabi ni Crisanto. “Our ambition is huge. And we cannot do it alone. That’s why a major thrust of Hapag Movement is to find partners for fund-raising and implementation. We are truly proud to have Albay as our first LGU and the Lions Club of Albay as our first implementation partner outside Metro Manila. Your support will go a long way in achieving our shared goal of uplifting the lives of our fellow Filipinos,” aniya.
Tugon naman ni Lagman: “Albay is committed to the welfare of its people, and this collaboration with the Hapag Movement, Globe and other partners will help us reach Albayanos who continue to reel from involuntary hunger. Tonight is just the beginning of what I hope will be a long and fruitful partnership.”
Ang Hapag Movement ay inisyatibo ng Globe na naglalayong tulungan ang 100,000 pamilya na nakararanas ng gutom sa loob ng apat na taon sa pamamagitan ng supplemental feeding at livelihood support.
