Pagpatay sa lady lawyer sa Abra kinondena ng IBP
Naglabas ang Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) ng pahayag ng pagkondena sa pagpatay sa isa nilang opisyal sa Bangued, Abra kahapon.
Ang biktima ay si Atty. Maria Saniata Liwliwa V. Gonzales Alzate, na nagsisilbing Commissioner on Bar Disipline ng IBP.
“We urgently call upon the National Bureau of Investigation, the Philippine National Police, and all relevant investigative agencies to promptly launch comprehensive investigations into this heinous crime, along with all other unsolved cases targeting lawyers,” ang pahayag ng IBP.
Hiniling din ng IBP ang mabilis na pagresolba sa kaso at mapanagot ang mga responsable sa krimen.
“We unite in solidarity with the legal community and the family of Atty. Alzate. We honor her memory as an esteemed public interest lawyer and a dedicated Commissioner of the Integrated Bar,” pahayag pa ng IBP.
Basa sa ulat, alas-4:55 ng hapon nang pagbabarilin ang biktima ng “riding in tandem killers” habang ito ay nasa loob ng kanyang sasakyan sa tapat ng kanilang bahay.
