Fuel subsidy sa PUV’s ibibigay na simula bukas
Simula na bukas ang pamamahagi ng fuel subsidy ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) sa operators at drivers ng public utility vehicles (PUVs).
Sinabi ni LTFRB chairperson Teofilo Guadiz III inilabas na ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM) ang pondo para sa fuel subsidy.
Aniya nakipagkasundo na sila sa ibat-ibang ahensiya tulad ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) at ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) dahil kasama na sa ayuda ang tricycle operators at delivery service riders.
Pangangasiwaan ng DILG ang pamamahagi ng ayuda sa tricycle drivers sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa mga lokal na pamahalaan, samantalang ang DTI at Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) ang bahala sa ayuda sa delivery service riders.
Ayon kay Guadiz, P10,000 one-time cash assistance sa ilalim ng fuel subsidy program ang ibibigay sa operators ng passenger jeepneys (PUJs), UV Express, samantalang P6,500 naman sa mini-buses, public utility buses (PUBs), Filcabs, shuttle services, taxis, tourist transport services, school transport services, at Transportation Network Vehicle Services (TNVS).
Samantalang, P1.200 ang ibibigay sa bawat delivery service riders at P1,000 sa bawat tricycle operators.
