273 baril nakumpiska sa BSKE gun ban, 474 tiklo
May 474 katao na ang naaresto dahil sa paglabag sa ipinatutupad na gun ban kaugnay sa papalapit na Barangay at Sangguniang Kabataan elections.
Sinabi ni PNP spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo nakakumpiska na sila ng 286 baril simula noong Agosto 28 kung kailan naging epektibo ang gun ban.
Aniya sa mga naaresto, 441 ang sibilyan at may siyam na guwardiya. May dalawang sundalo at dalawang pulis din ang naaresto, maging isang opisyal ng gobyerno.
Samantala, paunanng 2,800 pulis ang inilipat ng assignment dahil may mga kaanak sila na makikilahok sa papalapit na eleksyon.
“Our rule is that our personnel must declare if they have relatives up to the 4th degree of consanguinity or affinity who are running for any position so that they would be re-assigned to other areas,” sabi ni Fajardo.
