Panibagong resupply mission sa BRP Sierra Madre nagtagumpay
Ibinahagi ni Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri na naging matagumpay ang “follow-up resupply mission” sa BRP Sierra Madre sa Ayungin Shoal.
Aniya ito ang ikatlong magkakatulad na misyon sa loob ng nakalipas na limang linggo kayat pinapurihan niya ang Philippine Navy (PN) at Philippine Coast Guard (PCG).
“Once again, I salute our men and women of the AFP and PCG for fearlessly staying on track to complete their mission despite intimidation from the Chinese Coast Guard and militia vessels,” pahayag ni Zubiri.
Dagdag pa niya:” This is a humanitarian resupply mission. Only barbarians at the gate will delight at seeing soldiers on a peaceful mission denied of food.”
Pagtitiyak pa nito na magpapatuloy ang mga katulad na misyon dahil nasa panig ng Pilipinas ang katotohanan at maraming bansa na ang pumapanig sa Pilipinas.
Kailangan lang aniya na mag-ingat ang ating puwersa dahil sa patuloy na agresyon ng China.
Sinabi pa ni Zubiri na suportado niya ang mga hakbangin para magkaroon ng “credible self-defense posture” ang AFP.
