Termination ng appointment ni DOF Undersecretary Cielo Magno, inasahan na

Kinumpirma ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang na terminated na ang appointment ni Finance Undersecretary Cielo Magno.

Ayon sa pahayag ng Office of the Executive Secretary, inaasahan na ang pagkakatanggal kay Magno dahil noon pa man ay hindi na nito suportado ang mga polisiya ng administrasyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

“The termination of her appointment could only be expected as she clearly does not support the administration and its programs for nation building,” pahayag ng OES.

“While we support anyone’s right to free speech, it would be counter intuitive to have someone be part of the administration who was clearly set on maligning it to begin with. We wish her all the best in her future endeavors moving forward,” pahayag ng OES.

Sinabi pa ng OES na kinkontra ni Magno ang mga polisiya ng administrasyon.

Ayon pa sa OES, ibinabandera pa ni Magno ang mga banat sa Pangulo sa social media kahit hindi pa nauupo sa puwesto noong Hunyo 2022.

Sa halip na makipagtulungan sa mga kasamahan sa gobyerno, dinadala ni Magno sa public fora ang mga batikos nito.

Pinakahuling post ni Magno ang law of supply and demand ng bigas.

Tila banat ito sa Executive Order No.39 ni Pangulong Marcos na nagtatakda sa presyo ng bigas sa P41 kada kilo ng regular milled rice at P45 sa kada kilo ng well-milled rice.
