PNP nagpapasaklolo sa Interpol, DFA para isilbi arrest warrant ni ex-Rep. Teves
Nakikipag-ugnayan na ang pambansang-pulisya sa International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) kaugnay sa utos ng korte na arestuhin si dating Negros Oriental 3rd District Rep. Anulfo “Arnie” Teves.
Sinabi ni PNP – Public Information Office chief, Col. Jean Fajardo, maging sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) ay nakikipag-ugnayan na sila at sa iba pang kinauukulang ahensiya matapos makumpirma na hindi pa nagbalik ng bansa si Teves.
Kahapon, naglabas na ang isang korte sa Maynila ng warrant of arrest para kay Teves kaugnay sa kinahaharap na mga kaso bunsod nang pagkakapatay kay Gov. Roel Degamo at 10 iba pa sa bayan ng Pamplona noong nakaraang Marso 4.
“We all know that he is out of the country and that is one of the challenges we are facing, especially that the Philippines has no extradition treaty in the area where he is reported to be staying,” ani Fajardo.
Dagdag pa ng opisyal, sa ngayon ay nakatuon ang kanilang pansin sa mga kapwa-akusado ng dating mambabatas na na pawang nahaharap sa mga kasong murder, frustrated murder at attempted murder.
