Binigyan ng ayuda ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) ang mga biktima ng malakas na pag-ulan sa Metro Manila.
Ayon kay DSWD Assistant Secretary for Strategic Communications at spokesman Romel Lopez,390 family food packs ang ibinigay sa 5th District ng Manila.
Saklaw nito ang mga residente sa Ermita, Intramuros, Malate, Port Area, San Andres at South Paco.
Nasa 1,685 family food packs naman ang ibibigay sa 4th District ng Quezon City.
“The DSWD is in coordination with other LGUs for their needed assistance. We are also currently arranging the FFPs and other relief items to be delivered to the 3rd District of Manila and Caloocan City,” pahayag ni Lopez.
Sa ngayon, nasa 1,278 pamilya o 5,015 indibidwal ang naapektuhan ng malakas nap ag-ulan at pagbaha.
Binigyan din ng DSWDang mga biktima ng sunog sa Las Piñas.
Kabilang sa mga ibinigay ng DSWD ang family food packs, hygiene kits, sleeping kits, at kitchen kits
Maging ang 210 pamilya na mga nasunugan sa Barangay Culiat, Quezon City ay binigyan din ng ayuda ng DSWD.
