Gagawin ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) ang lahat ng paraan at kapasidad na maprotektahan ang interes ng Pilipinas.
Pahayag ito ni National Security Adviser Eduaro Año kaugnay sa 10-dash line standard map ng China sa South China Sea.
“Our Armed Forces, our uniformed services, our government will do everything in its capacity to ensure that we are protecting our national interest,” pahayag ni Año sa pulong balitaan sa Malakanyang.
Aniya hindi kinikilala ng Pilipinas ang 10-dash line ng China dahil “final and binding” na ang 2016 Arbitral award.
“We do not recognize the 10-dash line. We do not even recognize the 9 dash line much more the 10-dash line. The arbitral award is final and binding and it gives us our maritime entitlement, our extended economic zone, our territorial waters, and even our extended continental shelf,” pahayag ni Año.
Sabi ni Año, maraming bansa na ang pumalag sa pahayag ng China kabilang na ang India at Malaysia at naniniwala ito na marami pang bansa ang susunod.
