Abalos sinuportahan ang pagsibak sa drug-positive police chief ng Mandaluyong City
Tinanggap na ng Mandaluyong City ang bagong mamumuno ng pulisya ng lungsod.
Ito ang sinabi ni Interior Sec. Benhur Abalos matapos ang pagsibak kay Police Col. Cesar Gerente, na nagpositibo sa paggamit ng droga base sa resulta ng kanyang drug test.
Si Police Col. Mary Grace Madayag ang officer-in-charge ngayon ng Mandaluyong City Police.
Sinuportahan ni Abalos ang naging hakbangin ng pambansang-pulisya at aniya naiintindihan niya ang layon ng surprise drug test sa mga pulis.
“We support the PNP’s effort to cleanse its ranks of drug-users. This is in line with our government’s thrust towards a drug-free country,” aniya.
Tiniyak din niya sa mga kapwa niya Mandalenyos na patuloy na magsusumikap ang pamahalaang-lungsod para masiguro ang kanilang kaligtasan at maayos na pamumuhay.
