QC gov’t handa na sa pagbabalik eskwela ng 458,000 na estudyante
Handa na ang lokal na pamahalaan ng Quezon City sa pagbubukas ng klase sa Agosto 29.
Ayon kay Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, nasa 458,000 na estudyante ang balik-eskwela.
“Education is a community responsibility. We want to make sure that our children are given the right tools, environment, and guidance to help them learn and develop their potential,” pahayag ni Belmonte.
Sabi ni Belmonte, tinutugunan na ng lokal na pamahalaan ang kakulangan ng mga silid aralan.
“Congestion is still an issue since QC is the biggest division in the country in terms of student population and there are no more buildable spaces. We have started building vertically in some areas. We are also institutionalizing the blended learning modality. Congested grades will shift to blended modality where there will be three days of face-to-face classes and two days of asynchronous or synchronous classes,” pahayag ni Belmonte.
“Together with the Schools Division Office and the Education Affairs Unit, we are also considering a school service or bus system to transfer excess students to QC schools that have not reached their full absorptive capacity,” dagdag ni Belmonte.
Ayon kay Belmonte, pinag-aaralan na ng lokal na pamahalaan na palawakin pa ang QC Voucher system.
Sa ngayon kasi, tanging ang mga senior high school lamang ang mayroong voucher kung saan maaring makapag-aral sa pribadong eskwelahan.
Target ni Belmonte na bigyan ng voucher ang mga estudyante sa elementarya.
Balak na rin ni Belmonte na upahan ang mga hindi ginagamit na gusali sa pribadong eskwelahan para gawing annex ng mga pampublikong eskwelahan.
Magbibigay ang lokal na pamahalaan ng mga dagdag na lamesa at upuan para sa mga guro, 15,000 tablet armchairs para sa elementary schools, 10,000 tablet armchairs para saa secondary schools, at 5,100 sets ng kiddie tables at upuan para sa kindergarten.
