Nasa 10,000 family food packs ang inihanda ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) sa pamamagitan ng Cagayan Valley regional office para sa mga tatamaan ng Tropical Storm Goring sa Batanes.
Base sa ulat ni DSWD Field Office-2 (Cagayan Valley) Regional Director Lucia Alan kay Secretary Rex Gatchalian, naka-break down ang food packs sa Basco – 1,306; Itbayat- 1,322; Ivana-1,100; Mahatao- 1,094; Sabtang- 1,203; at Uyugan- 1,167.
Nasa mahigit 2,000 food packs ang ipinadala sa Batanes provincial capitol.
Sabi ni Alan, mayroong 1,000 na kahon ng food packs ang ang naka-preposition sa Isabela province; 154 sa Maconacon, at 500 sa Palanan.
May 1,246 food packs din ang ipinadala saa pamamagitan ng barko sa Isabela province.
“For Calayan Island, we have prepositioned 2,900 FFPs while 150 FFPs were sent to Barangay Fuga of Aparri, Cagayan,” pahayag ni Alan.
