Idineklara ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang Setyembre 11, 2023 bilang special non-working day sa probinsya ng Ilocos Norte.
Ito ay bilang paggunita sa ika-106 na kaarawan ng kanyang amang si dating Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Sr.
Nilagdaan ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin ang Proclamation No. 327 kahapon, Agosto 23.
“It is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Ilocos Norte be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration,” saad ng proklamasyon.
Matatandaan na noong nakaraang taon, dumalo sa isang misa ang pamilya ni Pangulong Marcos sa puntod ng dating Pangulo sa Libingan ng mga Bayani sa Taguig City.
