P80.6 bilyong pondo inilaan para sa development ng BARMM
Naglaan ang Department of Budget and Management ng P80.6 bilyong pondo para sa development ng Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
Ayon kay Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman, pagtupad ito sa pangako ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. na suportahan ang kapayapaan sa BARMM.
Sabi ni Pangandaman, nakapaloob ang naturang pondo sa 2024 national budget.
“We would always say that our Agenda for Prosperity aims for a promising future for the country where no Filipino is left behind. And by all, we mean all Filipinos, including Muslim Filipinos,” pahayag ni Pangandaman.
Nakapaloob sa budget ang P70.5 bilyon para sa Annual Block Grant; P5 bilyon sa Special Development Fund (SDF) at P5.1 bilyon na BARMM shares sa national taxes, fees, at charges base na rin sa Republic Act 11054 o Organic Law for the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
“It is our hope that through this allocated budget, we will be able to continue to build on what we have accomplished,” pahayag ni Pangandaman.
“Makakaasa po kayo… laging aagapay ang DBM at national government sa BARMM,” dagdag ng kalihim.
Samantala, nasa P5.3 bilyon naman ang inilaan para sa implementasyon ng PAMANA (PAyapa at MAsaganang PamayaNAn) Program para sa infrastructure development.
