LTFRB umaasang maisusumite ang circular para sa P3-B fuel subsidy
Nagsusumikap ang Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) na sa susunod na linggo ay maisusumite na ang joint memorandum circular (JMC) para sa pagpapalabas ng P3 billion fuel subsidy.
Kinakailangan ang JMC dahil hinihingi ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM) ayon kay LTFRB Executive Dir. Robert Peig.
Paliwanag ni Peig tinatapos na ng board ang mga pag-amyenda sa JMC para sa guidelines sa pagbibigay ng subsidiya.
Bukod aniya sa LTFRB kailangan din na maaprubahan ang JMC ng Department of Transportation (DOTr), Department of Energy (DOE), at Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) bago maipalabas ang pondo.
Inaasahan na 1.6 milyong drivers ng public utility vehicles (PUVs) ang makikinabang sa subsidiya bunsod na rin ng sunod-sunod na pagtaas ng presyo ng mga produktong-petrolyo.
